Both had 18-speed manual transmissions. However, many large haul trucks are autos. The ones that take up two lanes and take 21 days to go from point A to point B. Due to time constraints and security, most of the time we merely stopped for gas. The most of the time was enjoyable. They do, however, have a variety of applications. I was never hungry.
