World's Most Powerful Semi Truck !
In Saudi Arabia, a 4,000 horsepower Peterbilt truck called Thor, dubbed the "most powerful big rig ever," just sold for $13.2 million.
According to Automobile Magazine, a 3,974 horsepower large rig dubbed Thor 24 just sold for a total of $13.2 million at the Riyadh Auction and Salon in Saudi Arabia.
The auction firm in charge of Thor24, Worldwide Auctioneers, claims the truck is the "most powerful big rig ever constructed" due to its horsepower rating, which is achieved using a 24-cylinder engine with 12 superchargers.
According to the auction house, real estate entrepreneur Mike Harrah spent seven years and thousands of hours creating the Norse god-named large rig. According to Driving, the endeavor cost him $7 million.
According to Automobile, Thor 24 was auctioned off for $12 million, but a 10% buyers premium was added, increasing the total to $13.2 million.
